Cardamom essential oil, also called Elaichi oil, is steam distilled from the seeds of a fruit from plant known botanically as Elettaria cardamomum

Active component in Elettaria cardamomum oil : 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol), alpha-terpineol, limonene, sabinene, linalool, borneol, myrcene, and terpinyl acetate.

Phyto Properties : antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and digestive properties.

Color : clear to pale yellow to rich yellow colour

Odour : Warm, green, spicy, balsami

APPLICATION AT HOME

• Aromatherapy: Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser for a refreshing atmosphere (20-30 mins).
• Massage: Dilute 2-3 drops with carrier oil (1:10 ratio) and massage for relaxation.
• Skin Care: Dilute 1-2 drops with carrier oil; apply for blemishes or facial massage.
• Bath: Add 3-5 drops to bath salts or carrier oil; soak for 15-20 minutes.
• Air Freshener: Mix 10 drops with 1 cup water in a spray bottle; shake and spray.
